Team
Danish pioneers in value, factor and index investing
The people in and around the Great Dane team have a history of innovation. Alongside the board members of Investeringsforeningen Great Dane (the Danish mutual fund), Henrik Lind-Grønbæk, Per Noesgaard and Peter Møller Lassen, our team was the first to adopt value investing in Denmark in the late 1990’s. In 2000, Jens Moestrup Rasmussen became the first portfolio manager of index fund family Sparindex, later managed by Jacob Loiborg.

Except from a brief period of less than 18 months, Jacobsen and Rasmussen have continously worked together since the mid 1990's with Bastrup crossing their path from 2000 to 2002 and again from 2005 to 2009. They reunited the value team at Great Dane Fund Advisors in the summer of 2021 launching the Europa Value fund shortly thereafter.
